Great Product December 20, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Navarre, FL United States
I have an off grid cabin in the Southeast USA, that I use on the weekends. I got one of the N222 about 8 months ago or so and have been very pleased with it.  It seems to charge just fine when I leave it on a south facing window while I am gone.  I have used it up 4+ hours at a time on high setting with it never going dead.  Great amount of light.  I have never used the phone charging so I cant comment on it.  I bought another I like it so well.

Bright and charges in tree filtered sun! February 15, 2014
Reviewer: James Light from Redondo Beach, CA United States
I bought two of these - one for the back yard and one for the boat.  I am impressed with the brightness of the light - even at low.  I am disappointed in solar charging.  In winter sun in typical southern Cal conditions, there does not seem to be enough daylight to fully charge the light.  The top is VERY hard to twist off to power it via AC power.  Probably should have gotten a lower power light.

Update:  I did an AC charge on both lights for a full 24 hours and then put both lights out in the sun... both work great and charge up to full capacity during the day even in tree shade filtered light.  The clear dome is still a bear to get off, but I am totally satisfied with both lamps.
